I was given the opportunity to spearhead the development of the Koupen Chan IP (Koupen Chan ©RURUTEA) in America, through WSLicensing Inc. I was responsible for the majority of product and graphic design associated with the project.
Today, these products can be found at major retailers, including Hello Discount Stores, Barnes & Noble, Kinokuniya, and more.

I worked alongside my art director to produce a variety of printed goods for Koupen Chan’s promotional period, as well as general packaging collateral.
Following closely to provided branding and IP guidelines, I produced hangtag designs, fabric tags, and promotional sticker products for Koupen Chan’s Licensure with WSLicensing.
Koupen Chan Classic Line Product Design
I had the pleasure of developing the first series of Koupen Chan plush toys in the American market. Following strict IP guidelines, I conceptualized the product from initial sketch, all the way to finished product.
I developed three 6" standalone plush toys, and three 4" Key-chain plush toys. I also oversaw production of the product and performed extensive sample evaluation and quality control procedures with each revision.

Koupen Chan Fruit Series Product Design
I was allowed the opportunity to be in charge of designing, iterating, and sampling the second line of officially licensed Koupen Chan products.
Adhering to strict IP guidelines, the product line was centered around the theme of fruits, and featured 9 overall SKU'S: Six 3" Key-chains and three 6" Standing plush toys.

Koupen Chan Bakery Series Product Design
I was allowed the opportunity to be in charge of designing, iterating, and sampling the third line of officially licensed Koupen Chan products.
Adhering to strict IP guidelines, the product line was centered around the theme of baked goods. The products I worked on included three, 2" key-chains of the Koupen-Chan character in various bakery-themed costumes.
